A Rock Band Profile - NO FAVORS

INTRODUCTION .
This site would probably never have been started if not for the vision of ( former Roadie & close Friend ) Chris Shaw . It was his idea to " Stage" a Reunion Gig for 4 of Stokes Finest Rock Outfits ( 18th Nov 2000 ) that prompted me to collate this web site and to release a CD charting the History of one of Stokes Finest - No Favors.
Looking back over our Archives I believe that we Did make an impression - No Favors were well liked across the UK , and were followed almost fanatically in a few local areas .
The main Driving Force of the band was Carl Ogden - Rhythm Guitarist & Co song writer .I can honestly say that there is no-one in the music industry that met Carl & didn't like and Respect him .
As for Chris Shaw - We first met at the End of a Belting Gig at Congleton Town Hall ( John Roney's Wheelchair Rugby Fund Raiser ) . Chris was SLIGHTLY the Worse For Wear , and he offered his services to help Load up the van - I accepted , then he Dropped my 4x12 Bass cab &broke my big toe = weve been best mates ever since . THANKS CHRIS !!
